Playing Twister
The Hawking Hi-Gain card's directional antenna flips up, then twists in both directions almost 360 degrees, letting you position it for optimal reception. It folds down again for transport, although it sticks out about two inches from the case. We preferred to remove it each time we put our laptop in the bag, something of an inconvenience, but worth it for the vastly improved range over standard Wi-Fi cards.
