Lighting the Way
The WMG120 Wireless Media Gateway won't win any industrial design awards, but it packs a lot of functions into a compact case. The lights indicate (from left to right) Power, Status, WAN status, Wireless LAN status, USB activity, and the status and speed of the four 10/100 wired Ethernet ports.

The WMA100 Wireless Media Adapter is smaller and has fewer lights on than the gateway. There is a power button (with LED) on the left, and status lights for the wired and wireless Ethernet connections on the right.

Making the Right Connection
The Adapter offers composite, S-Video, component and DVI connectors: enough to connect to everything from an old TV to a state-of-the-art plasma screen. There are also analog audio outputs and an SP/DIF output for connecting to the TV or a surround-sound decoder.

Remote Style
The remote control offers a good selection of buttons for accessing the media, including a "ViewSonic" button, which works rather like the TiVo button on a TiVo remote, taking you to the media server home page.
